Children's Ministry
At Saint Patrick's we believe parents are called to raise their children to be fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. To support parents in this endeavor, we offer two children's minstries.
For infants and toddlers there is a nursery available during our worship service. The nursery is staffed by a paid worker who is a committed Christian. Each week the children have the same person watch them and interact with them in gentle and loving manner. In addition, a parent volunteer assists the nursery worker every Sunday. The toddlers in nursery receive age-appropriate study, fun activities and interaction with faithful and trustworthy Christian adults.
Elementary students are invited to participate in Children's Church. During the sermon, these children are escorted from the worship service to the Chlldren's Church room by their teacher and aide for a time of worship and Bible study. Our program utilizes the excellent children's program entitled Godly Play. The Children are brought back from Children's Church by their teacher and aide in time rejoin their parents during Holy Communion.
Baptized children are free to receive Holy Communion at the discretion of their parents.
